The Taiwan stock market came under early selling pressure on Wednesday. The market fell, searching for a bottom during the trading session. At one point during the session falling 125 points. But by the close of the session, the market rebounded for a small loss of 8 points.

The construction , paper and motor vehicle sectors of the market were the hardest hit, with construction stocks falling 4%.
